Country: | I thik all of the "cakes" in MREs were godawful, but the fruitcake was the worst. That guy would trade darn near a whole MRE for one. But I will say the cocoa beverage powder was okay.

Country: | I dont think they are freeze dried either, the fruit cakes. They are just processed like everything else in the MRE, and P38 you really are strange!

Country: | All those "cakes" are just compressed into a semi-edible blob. They aren't freeze-dried. They are kind of like dry dough.
Edit: Correction, the MRE cakes are not freeze dried.
