Country: | Now why would any sane human being want to blow up a submarine?
Besides for the obvious threat they can pose. |

Country: | Very true, but all said, I would not trade it for a submarine any day. I like seeing the sky.

Country: | Im with Alder. I would either fly in a UH60 down to a LZ or ride in a Humvee or in one of those Infantry tanks.

Country: | LOL, the grunts try and catch rides with anything they can. We would land someplace and they would run out "Hey you guys going to Mosul!?" If we were and we had space we would take them. We used to joke around about it and say we were going to put Johnny Cab signs on our doors. The call sign that the army gave us to use in Iraq (normally it is Knighthawks) was Angry Cat (example Angry Cat 21) and we said that the Cat stood for Combat Air Taxi.
Overall though we did not mind, it was a hell of lot safer to fly than drive and get hit by IED's.
