There is info galore about the bombing missions over Germany and the pilots and air crews and what it was like to go on these harrowing missions. Now, what I don't see very much of is that of the German pilots who took on these hordes of bombers and their accounts of what that was like. Are there any good books or even websites on this subject?
 
I agree les. Ghostdancer, there is probably plenty of information in lots and lots of previous threads.
 
I'll help you with a couple of books Ghostdancer.

I Flew for the Fuhrer, Knoke
Helmut Lipfert's War Diary, Lipfert

The Lipfert book is about the Eastern Front though.
 
"Battles With The Luftwaffe" by Theo Boiten and Martin Bowman has many first hand accounts by Luftwaffe pilots going against the Viermots.
