| 40th Anniversary of the First Lunar Landing July 20th 1969, 10:56pm EDT, July 20, the first moon walk occured. Anyone have memories of that day? I was 9 years old. A hot and humid day in Minneapolis. When the moonwalk took place, I remember our neighbors coming over to watch it with us. And I do remember it was CBS and Walter Cronkite we watched.

| I was 10 and watched it with my family and a friend in Nova Scotia. Do you remember the newspaper headline the day after? Onion Store > Holy **** Man Walks On ****ing Moon (1969) |

| "Shooter" ![]() | I will never forget that night, but for other reasons. My Uncle Jack was murdered that night. It's still sad to see the moonwalk replayed because of painful family memories.
