90 years of Polish skies - Poznan ceremonies

Commemorative ceremonies of winning Poznan-Ławica airport by Wielkopolska uprisers were being held on 6th January.

Army representatives and local authorities laid flowers and wreath at the Tomb to the Ławica airport seizers. During the ceremony, an exhibition “90 years over Poznan skies” displaying military aircraft in Wielkopolska region from the period of regaining independence until today was opened for public (..).
Many people and institutions had been engaged in arranging the ceremony, including Ławica airport staff in Poznan, newly formed 2nd Tactical Air Force Wing in Poznan with its subunit 31st Tactical Aircraft Airbase as well as military aircraft spotters, historical reconstruction groups and military classes’ students. Military Air Force Ceremonial Band concert added splendour to the ceremony.

This is a replic of Albatros DII. Juging by the small emblem over the Polish checker on its rudder the aircraft was made by OAW in Schneidemuhl.

Nice info here V2 .
