Yeah pretty bad, 3rd time in recent months a truck has been the cause of the accident. Truckies must be asleep behind the wheels..

Im glad my old man ain;t driving anymore. Those guys are on the edge. Still the accident happened at a flat area with nothing stopping the view of the train. Must really been out of it .

I know saw the news in Singapore. Got grey hairs from near misses at level crossings. Happens all the time no matter if gates or signals at crossings

I've been quite amused at the "experts" who have been saying that boom gates would have prevented the crash. Yeah right, show me a boom gate that is going to stop a semi!

I mean this is a 40tonne truck after all a metal boom hinged will do heaps

I've seen people snake through crossings because they were too impatient utter lunacy!

Best safety feature is your eyes.
