Mine was as odd as it might sound the RAF ranks Mess in Goose called the Bulldog Club

Country:  | Hmmm.... Ill have to think alittle bit about that one, but 2 off the top o me head were Golden Legs in Palma, de Mallorca and The Hut in Lisbon, Portugal...
There was also this place at the top of the hill in Haifa, Israel, cant remember the name now, but have a few videos from that place that I had to wait till my son was 17 to show him...

And they are the only two I can think of that I've liked. Although, that one Chris took me to in Germany was good. We need one like that here !

Country: | I'll be completely honest. Some of the best bars/pubs I've been to have been right here in Halifax. The Seahorse Tavern, The Old Triangle, The Lower Deck, The Split Crow...Boy, if there's one thing Halifax has in abundance, it's watering holes. Trapper John's in St. John's, Nfld. is a good spot too. That's where I was screeched in. 
Great town, St. John's. Very friendly girls.
I've been to Tom and Jerry's in San Juan, pD. It wasn't bad. | |

Country: | Sadly, no. It's private now from what I understand, and we were never able to organize a visit. I'd still love to see the inside of the joint, it's an interesting little piece of St. John's history. Apparently the artifacts from the crews of WWII who visited there are all preserved. It's recognized as a National Historic site, if I'm not mistaken. | |

The Crowsnest was the bar the ships officers went to when they got to St Johns it served breakfast 24/7 I believe it was the official home for the Seagoing Officers of the escort ships it has collection of gunshield art amongst other naval stuff and it is still a pub

| someplace in Dublin, close to St Stephens Green. I was sitting jus below the band, the bass player went out of Marlboro and I had 2 packs, so for the whole night i tossed him cigarettes and he half emptied his (continuosly renewed) beer in my glass...
And 'La Frega' at Spessa, along the Po river. It had over 400 different beers and all choices of bread, salami and hot chili pepper. Unfortunately now is a restaurant.

Twice when I was in St. John's, members of the crew expressed an interest to see the place, and both times we fell flat. Once because they were hosting a reunion of some kind, and the second time the ship's liason officer was too lazy to get off his a*s and organize anything. I still wanna see it.
