Explosion at Illinois Shopping Mall

WAUKEGAN, Ill. — An explosion has hit a shopping plaza in the Chicago suburb of Waukegan.

Firefighters from several departments responded to the scene. The building that housed a tuxedo rental store, a hair salon, a cell phone business and a travel agency was gutted and the roof has collapsed.

Authorities say there are injuries. Five people were taken to the hospital, but the extent of their injuries was unknown.

The explosion happened in Waukegan, which is about 40 miles north of Chicago, around noon.

At least nobody got killed. Wonder what caused the explosion, terroism, mechanical failure, or human error?
