Country: | There're...what a retard form of apostrophisation
Funny how you typed out that whole post with proper English as well, wouldn't have warranted the use of a semi-colon there though.

| Not really, I'd always write it like that...
What's more I believe my use of a semi-colon was justified, the second clause was not of sufficiently different subject matter to warrant a full stop and I felt something more 'meaty' than a comma was called for.

What's the 2nd one, give me a clue. EDIT: OK, shouldn't it be "What is this country?" |

Country: | I can only see one too...
What is that country is fine. The one I see is "I bet one of this" should be "I bet one of these"

It doesnt feel natural and I thought it was wrong too, but on further inspection I think its technically fine.

Country: | if the bit that doesn't feel natural is the same bit i'm looking at, it is a technical mistake.......

| you could get away with the second comma but cirtainly not the first, although my version is equally correct.........
and when making a list like you did "Brazil, Czecho, Holland, Germany, Italy, France" the last item in any linear list such as this should always be preceeded by "and" not a comma, it should read "Italy and France" small but important
and why the hell are we still arguing about this

Country: | Aha, but as he preceeded the list with a colon the and was not necessary...who said he was writing in prose?
And actually, you've both spelled certainly wrong
