Focke-Wulf Fw-190 History
It made its maiden flight on 1 June 1939. It was modernized plane replacing many other fighters and imposed a huge threat to the allied bombers and escort fighters. In early 1940 it appeared in France and became a champion until in 1941 spitfire of United States was developed. 40 versions were developed according to the purpose in which they had to be used i.e. fighter, fighter/bomber, escort etc. | From http://www.fw-190.info/ .

Country: | Starting small is okay, but starting with incorrect info when you have .info for a URL is not very productive. The bad thing is that some people will use that as a reference at some point.
