Country: | In Memoriam 2007 2007 was a tough year for aviation. We lost a lot of folks in the airshow community to accidents. Additionally, we lost some more of the heroes of the greatest generation. Today, I pause to remember the following airshow performers, air racers and aviation community members:
Stephen Brown
Eilon Krugman-Kadi
Lt. Cmdr. Kevin Davis
Capt. Shawn McCaughey
Steve Hilligoss
John McKittrick
Gerry Beck
Jim Leroy
Lech Marchelewski
Piotr Banachowicz
Steve Fossett
Jan Wildbergh
Steve Dari
Brad Morehouse
Gary Hubler
Elmer Ward
Bob Pond
Heroes of the greatest generation:
Cook Cleland
Robin Olds
Richard Catledge
Tex Hill
Paul Tibbets
Dick Becker
Jefferson DeBlanc Sr.
Raleigh "Dusty" Rhodes
Feel free to add to the list any that have not been listed as we remember the fallen for 2007.

Just for grins, there was something on Good Morning America this morning
about Steve Fossett. He's been seen in Mexico, by an un-reliable source.
They did mention the town, but nothing I recognized or remember.
