Navy Technology!!!

What the hell is this thing? I found it in the Wing building at base... it's like a vcr - only the tapes are bigger! Maybe one of my elders can help me out and let me know what it is!

Wowzers - that old betamax is probably worth something to collectors
on eBay!!! Just think, someday people will look at this stuff the way we
look at astrolabes.

so those giant vcr looking things are called 'betamax' huh... I decided to pop it in and try the system out, and I found a tape from 1977 or so of the blue angels... they were flying A-4s
