    New addition to the family

The missus is always bringing home strays, usually she's fairly successful at finding their owners, and if not, new homes for them. She found a young pup on side of the road a couple of weeks ago and so far the owner hasn't contacted us. We've kind of fallen in love with this dog since then, and I reckon she's staying put. The vet thinks she's a whippet, and is about four months old.

SWMBO has christened her Suzi (after Suzi Quatro for some reason)

Here she is with her new big sister Heidi...

She's made herself quite at home, her favourite place to sleep is on the rug in front of the fire.

Even though she's only a pup, you should see her run, amazing acceleration!!!

Very nice. It is also great to see people helping out animals in need. It always pains me to see so many dogs just put out on the street like that.

Good looking dog...the face almost looked like a Greyhound at first glance

Depending on the size, it just may be a greyhound. Looks too big next to that rotti to be a whippet - possible.

That's what I was thinking, actually. Just look at how long those legs are and the size of the paws. She's going to grow up to be fairly good sized.

Beautiful dog. Very cool of you to take her in and give her a home.

Our current pooch is a stray we found around Thanksgiving almost two years ago.
