American Football is a great sport. I love it. It is deffinatly better than cricket! Hell it is better than Cricket, Baseball, and Basketball combined. The 3 best sports are Football, Football (soccer), and Hockey.

i've seen little bits of Baseball and American Football and man i was boored! where's the skill, stamina and inteligence in baseball? and American Football's just one big fight why do you get so excited about it? either way you could barely tell they were playing a sport i can understand why someone would think they're just watching a giant advert...........

here's an idea, next time you watch a sport, mute the TV, the way i see it a good sport should be entertaining without music or some over-excited commentator going "YEEEE-HAWWWW" all the time, see if it's interesting then... i've tried it (mostly due to people being on the phone and wanting the volume down) and Football's still a great game, as is cricket... are baseball and American Football?

The main advantage of muting it is to stop listening to all the bullshit the commentators manage to speak. How many times on Test Match Special have the started talking about birds, aeroplanes or the hot air balloon that just went past...

i was watching some Motorcross from the 60's and the stuff they were saying was absolutely classic, they were exceptionally British, very un-PC and the puns were of a suitably crappy level............

Yes American Football is still exciting. You just dont understand the sport Lanc. It is too complicated for your feeble mind!

I agree on Baseball though. It is one of the most boring sports I have ever seen.

it just seems like a less controlled, low skill easier version of rugby to me?

Baseball requires a lot of skill, but obviously not much stamina.

Cricket, well its boring, unless youre the guy at bat or throwing the ball.

Soccer..... needs to be changed to make the game more exciting.

Football needs changing so there isnt so many breaks in the game. Far to many commercials.

Cricket is a game that needs to be apprechaited to be enjoyed, once you can apprechaite it you will find it to be a thrilling game, unfortunately for Americans it's a difficult game to grasp and the lack of adverts and loud noises seems to baffel you samewhat........

'Soccer' while not a great fan myself, can appreciate the love of the game. It's a strategic game, and many moments for excellent shows of skill. I dislike the fans of 'soccer' more than I do the game, because most English fans are pathetic. And anyone who cries over a sport needs to be shot. I will, sometimes, sit down and watch 'soccer' when the two teams involved seem like a good match-up. I was terribly disappointed with Holland and Portugal though.

American Football is a good game to watch, and can get quite exciting. It is also very tactical, and the contact of the game make it great. It's nothing like Rugby. It is more of a team sport, where individual skill will only shine with the aid of the team. I've watched a few superbowls, and found it very entertaining.

Baseball and Cricket to me are boring to watch. My favourite sports to watch are Basketball and Ice Hockey. I love Basketball because it's fast paced, and the tactics are quick moving. As I used to play it's easier for me, at least, to keep track as a lot of people normally just see it as back and forth scoring. And Ice Hockey is extremely tactical, and exhausting for the players. Being fast paced, and heavy contact make it the perfect sport for those of us with blood lust.
