    Number one Terrorist Killed

SANAA, Yemen — An American-born cleric killed in Yemen played a "significant operational role" in plotting and inspiring attacks on the United States, U.S. officials said Friday, as they disclosed detailed intelligence to justify the killing of a U.S. citizen.

Anwar al-Awlaki was killed early Friday in a strike on his convoy carried out by a joint operation of the CIA and the U.S. Joint Special Operations Command, according to counterterrorism officials. Al-Awlaki had been under observations for three weeks while they waited for the right opportunity to strike.

    May he rest in pieces!!!

A 2006 study found that the average American walks about 900 miles a year. Another study found that Americans drink an average of 22 gallons of beer a year. That means, on average, Americans get about 41 miles per gallon.

Read something somewhere where either the ACLU or some other group was screaming that he should have been brought back to the US to stand trial with all the rights of a US citizen. Personally...the moment he actively plotted and sent someone out with the intention of attacking the US, US territories, US soil, or anything US-related, he became just another target. When he signed on with al-Quaida (and I don't care enough about them to even spell-check the name, may they rest in pieces. In a box of bacon.) he became a terrorist. The US has a long-standing policy of not negotiating with terrorists. Revoke the citizenship of every goat-effer that is either actively supporting, or directly involved with a terrorist cell. Then drop a piece of good 'ole made-in-the-USofA high explosive on his/her arse. This guy had it comin. Good riddance.

Agree RA. He didn't need to stand trail, he doesn't deserve the rights of an American citizen, he forego those when he joined Al Qaeda.

Anybody else see the irony that Al-Dillwad was killed by Hellfire?

No terrorist deserves to grace this Earth with his presence.

Unfortunately however we can kill a million of them and it will not change a thing. There are another dozen ready to stand up for everyone we get.

Good shot, It would be a blast to have some of the footage of that operation.
