oh what the Hey it's Autumn

a pic from this past Sunday's 60 miler in the Cascades of Orygun. first pic of several, don't want to bore any of you, but the riding right now is hot stuff, all the fat ass party goers are home except the hunters.

a grey day so some of the pics will be dark casted ......

some more of our 60 mile venture // top pic some of the lava flow out of Brown mountain. we are about 5500 feet in elevation. Second pic is the north fork of Brown creek pumping out of the base of the Mountain, more like a big black slug heap. Some of the best back country telemark skiing is here on the West coast USA

big Jim doin his thing towards the lunch spot. turned around and about 45 miles into the journey we visit 9495 foot Mt McLoughlin a last time before the clouds descend on it and us.

last 10 miles to go Bob looks at me as I almost pounce on the photographer I was crusin a bit too fast. a big hill of 7-8 % for a mile ahead of us then a 3 mile fast descent to chili and beer............burp !

D@mn Eric! Great pics. That does look like a lot of fun (great scenery). He, my dad's a cyclist too (albeit I don't think he's as good as he used to be, though). I think you guys would get along great with stuff like this.

My colleague here in work is a cyclist, he's always trying to get me to buy a decent bike and go cycling with his crew. They go out twice a week for 60 mile 'spins', NO THANKS!!
