in our sats at key stage 3 the highest you can get is an 8, we have a different system so i have no idea how the american one works...........

Sh*t, I scored 1100 on my SAT's back in 1983, and that was good enough to get me into Syracuse...

How the hell did you take an SAT? I thought the SAT II was now mandatory, and isn't it out of 2500 on that?

SAT II not madatory where I am (AZ), the maximum score is 2400, and I know someone (personally) who got a 2200.
