It's where I live now, yes. I live seven miles away from where those pictures were taken. I took them from where my brother works.

I was born in Dundee, Scotland, so technically that's my home town. I could explain what some of those buildings are, if anyone really cares. And my brother's car is in one of those pictures.

Geez Plan no wonder you drink so much Hon. tell me more.

The centre of Manchester is fantastic if you like architecture, there are old and historical buildings and thanks to the Irish demolishion team ( IRA) a few years ago, we are now a newly developed city centre.

It is growing fast with A huge number of city apartments being put up in central Mancs, attracting a growing number of millionaires and busineses.
I love it!!!

I will move some more pics later but for now here are a couple of pubs for Plan

I live 3 miles out of the centre, a bit industrial but with a few nice bits too, this is 5 mins walk away:

good thread plan .....I can travel without leaving the computer...whatever next pass me that bottle of wine Im comfy.

Irish demolition team.
Sorry, I know the IRA are a pack of lunatics, but that just struck me funny.

Ok, I live in Prague which is in my opinion one of the nicest city around the Globe. But I live in a suburb where's only ghetto... "...concrete jungle..." they sing in one Reggae song.... I had the fortune to move into the old part of Letnany, which is aprox. 25% of the overall quarter and it's the family house quarter - not panelák thanks God! - which was left from the orginal village. Letnany were attached to Prague district in 1968. Letnany in Czech means the City of Flyers or The Flying City - it's on a hill and we have two big airports here and three most famous Czech aircraft plants - Aero, Avia and Letov.

Pics (sorry for some big sizes...):

Very interesting Pisis.

Hey Skimmy....the official Halifax tour guide. worrying though that we seem to have shots of pubs and not much else.
Nice to know what lovely garments you buy your wife

Here is a shot of the sh**t view from my bedroom window (back of house) I over look a school for naughty kids.
The long large shed building to the far left top corner of the picture is where they made parts for the Lancaster during WW2.

talking of planes, look what someone sent me

cool hey.

Hugs Cripps (Bev)

Tell you more, Bev, what d'yah want to know? What the buildings are? A few of 'em, I'll re-post the pictures with arrows pointin' to things but there's Castle club, the Civic Theartre, Doncaster College, Job Centre in there, just to name a few things.
