Snow in Houston

The flurries that began Friday morning mark the earliest recorded snowfall in the city's history. The climate in SE Texas is sub-tropical and for two years in a row Houston has gotten some cold weather and snow. For those that aren't familiar with the area it is rare, and a snowfall this early is unheard of.

VB fly up to Jersey, suppose to have a nice big storm tomorrow

We're supposed to have some just north of us this weekend - just missing us. I have not seen a really good snowstorm since the blizzard of 92.

We got some light snow here Wed morning. Nothing stuck to the ground past sunup, and idiot drivers felt the overwhelming need to drive 5mph on the frikkin highway (its 36F outside...there's NOT gonna be ice!), but it was cool all the same.
