Country: | It's the farting gnome, he does all the work. And if you look carefull to the bottom right, it's the top of a beer can.

Country: | Exactly. A farting gnome, beer and a dictionary of science...
My favourite quote from the 'Art of War' has to be;"Warfare is the greatest affair of state, the basis of life and death, the Way (Tao) to survival or extinction. It must be thoroughly pondered and analyzed"
It's my favourite because it is the whole reason the book exists! It also is a perfect explanation for any study of war and military tactics ever since then.
War is like school, it's hell but it teaches us all.

Country: | Sun Tzu's art of war is Good but you might also try Von Clausewitz's book by the same name.

Country: | There's quite a few from that period of time that are all around the same thing, a few with conflicting views about how to conduct a war. This one I have is great because it gives an historical introduction about the dynastys, people, Sun-Tzu, warring states period and basically everything which brought about the Art of War.
There's seven military classics from that period but I don't know if they've all been translated into English. And plus, I'm getting a book on Nomonhon (Khalkin-Gol) soon and that's going to take me ages to read; it's 1,423 pages!
