Right heading down to Cape Town tomorrow before the start of my first trip of this summer (20 days from Cape Town to Vic Falls through Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe/Zambia). Will likely be out of touch for the whole time but will try and check in - will certainly update you all when I get back - pictures won't be until August though (or so)....

__________________  We have built a total of about 1250 of this aircraft (Me-262), but only fifty were allowed to be used as fighters - as interceptors. And out of this fifty, there were never more than 25 operational. So we had only a very, very few.

Yeah this trip is just the appetizer so to speak. Unfortunately you Aussie's are going to have to put up with me for 3 weeks in July (arrive in Sydney on the 9th)...
