| It's the Focke-Wulf F 19a Ente (Duck). A canard twin engine passenger aircraft of 1930. Despite an unblemished flying record, with demonstrations in Germany, Denmark, Holland, Belgium and Britain, no production orders were forthcoming. (Georg Wulf lost his life in the earlier version with lower powered Siemen engines on September 29th 1927. But the subsequent investigation revealed that a broken control rod was the cause, not the radical layout). Focke-Wulf F 19a Ente (Duck) |
