Yeah, I miss that 'stang. Same as in Bullet right down to the color. Fastback witha 289 if I remember...it was 20 yrs ago. But I got into four wheelin and locked onto a few trucks, pride was that Land Rover. It would go anywhere!

Oh nice!! Yeah wish I had something better than this Explorer. Best truck I had (besides the Rover) was a 1978 Ford F-250 1 ton 4x4 with 351 M, New Process 4 Speed (knucklebuster granny low) with Dana 30? front rears and Dana 70 rear with Detroit lockers. Sumabeatch could go though anything!! I have pics with me in water up to the window and such. I gotta scan them pics!

That pic was taken about 3 years ago. The Tires were actually fine and the allignment was only a bit out due to this guy hitting my tire. Shortly after taking the pic it was in the shop and the alignment was put back in as well as a slight dent being repaired.

This Jeep is a fricken tank though man. Just last year I had a T-Bone me in his BMW Z-3 Roadster. His car fell apart and mine had this small dent in it and nothing else. Could barely notice the damage.

I've been thinking about this for some time. Occasionaly a member would
mention his vehicle, so I thought.. what to heck. Besides, I had just finished
cleaning up my truck.... good time, no ?

Don't understand you having so much trouble with salt air. I live eight miles
from the ocean. Maybe the salt air blows north or south ?

I dunno Charles, I'm only assuming. My car has more paint chips than Home Depot. As in the words of DI Ermey "Its a "F"ing modern art masterpiece" But it gets me where I'm going!

We got a 1996 escort station wagon that had 30,000 miles when we bought it from my wife's company for $1.00It was in almost new condition until a tree fell on it about a month later. A very big tree, it totaled out the cars on the boths of where we parked but we got the windshield replaced and beat the roof back into shape and replaced a door and the springs.
The car looks like it's been driving through a combat zone with dents all over it but we do park on the street in DC and I have been hit once with pretty good damage to the other car, and like Adler, I got out laughing....

My dad had a Triumph Spitfire back the 70s, don't know which model.

I drive a '99 1.6 Litre Peugeot 206 XS. A whole 90 BHP! 0 - 60 in 11 seconds! Top speed 110 MPH and 35 MPG so it does me just fine.

Here's a picture of a XSi (16 valve) for those that don't know the 206 - obviously not mine - and the XSi looks exactly like the XS. Mines burnt orange, I'll get a picture soon if anyone's really bothered.
