World War II: Russian American love

Did that many Russian Soviet women, workers for the army or soldiers, marry the US GI's after the war ended?

I had heard that now-a-days American men like to marry russian women.

The women like the americans because they find them more courageous and courteous than their russian males. I doubt all russian men are so ill thought of though.

And the American men like them because the norm is they are often more devoted and less aggressive or feminized than their American women counterparts. The Russian wives still like to see the man as the head of the house.

The cases I am talking about here are Russian women that immigrated from Russia to marry us Yankee males.

Did this trend of Russian American families start after Word War II or did it have nothing to do with it?

I have a hunch the number of marriages were zero.

Most of all, there was absolutley no opportunity for the GI's and Russian woman to meet each other.

The Soviet and US armies didn't interact much or work closely together much I guess?
