| Thats the one too easy perhaps did you know it right away  a little background may be interesting The DFS-230 light assault glider was successfully demonstrated in 1937 and immediately entered production. It was manufactured by Gottaer Waggonfabrik AG and by the end of the war they had produced nearly 1500 gliders. It was inexpensive to produce, easy to fly and easy to land. |
