Country: | Generally the American pronunciation is correct it is Mos cow
not Mos co. I'm very lazy with my words like I'll say mate with the T being pronounced without using the tongue to make the T sound but then I'm only 20 miles from the East end so I have a bit of cockney in me.

Country: | For it's size the U.S doesn't have many - especially as you spread out from the East Coast.
I can't stand the scouse or East London accent when they're really strong. I can't stand the Welsh one either. Or the Essex one...or the Glasweigan one...in fact, I just can't stand really strong accents. I'm alright with most accents as long as they're not stupidly strong...the 'Home County' accent is really annoying...even the Queen doesn't speak like that.

Country: | No - I have another accent I hate - the South Yorkshire one. Mine is softer than the scum around here though.
I hate strong accents - all of them.

I've always been told that Londoners don't talk like that. I met some of them and I must admit that it's true. However, a small part of them still talk like that. I met one or two in the last few years. |

Country: | I watch Coronation Street - they're not strong accents. And that's set in Manchester.
Eastenders is the East End of London - and I hate Eastenders.

Eastenders is the East End of London - and I hate Eastenders. | Hmmm... I met some students from Manchester High School (or a name like that) and they (mostly) didn't have a accent as strong as in "Coronation Street".
And if you ask them about that show and their accent, they'll answer something like : "We don't talk like in Coronation Street."
Of corse, they had a British accent. But not as strong as in that show. By the way, being French-Canadian, I can't distinguish an accent from London and an accent from Plymouth or Dover. I can still distinguish very different accent like Scottish, Irish, British and American. |

Country: | That's because not all those in Coronation Street are from Manchester - plus Manchester has a few accents of it's own.

Country: | I wouldn't like to guess. You've got your Geordie, Scouse, Cockney, South Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, East Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, North Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Essex, Exeter, Norfolk, Lancashire, Manchester, Home County, Humber, Leicester, Cornish, West End, Brummie, Wolverhampton...and many - many more that I just can't think of right now.

Country: | Surely people from Wolverhampton are lumped in with Brummies?
Mind you, calling someone from The Wirral a Scouser will not go down well.
Essex isn't really an accent as such - that just goes under the heading of 'Estuary English' |
