| guys, lets get real and ease up....true you don't have to like anyone nor do you have to respect anyone....but don't base a judgement by what you see on T.V. or by misinfomation....I am quite sure the Spartans could give a hoot if you liked them or not, or Socrates ("The most ancient and fertile homes of philosophy among the Greeks are Crete and Sparta.. They [the Spartans] conceal their wisdom and pretend to be blockheads, so that they may seem to be superior only because of their prowess in battle, rather than by virtue of their wisdom.") for that matter....their are MANY famous warriors throughout history, both male and female that were, what is termed now, 'gay'....personally, I think the term is misleading and hypercritical. I only have a problem with the ones that want and demand special statis....
From personal experience, one of the best SF people I ever knew was...and he was VERY good at killing communists...glad he is on my side.... | |
