That's cause of the rubbish muck that tends to be served up in fast food outlets nowadays 102
Some of the restaurants that have gone back to to older recipe's are starting to revive what used to be produced.
In Scotland if you haven't had Atholbrose or Clutie Dumpling you ain't lived, Haggis is OK but only during the hunting season when is freshly killed. My favorite English dish at the moment is Sea-Bream with Cassies marinated onions. any Michelin restaurant would happily serve it, fantastic.
