Its is very true what you guys are saying. CNN is just trying to get the public to turn against the soldiers who fought to keep us safe and the whole world safe. But this is the major problem. They are attacking our troops!

When soldiers came back form Vietnam, they didnt come to a hero's welcome but instead to the groups of peace protestors that swormed and called them baby killers.

Some of you know Jane Fonda right? Well i want to shoot that bitch and call her a traitor. She went over to north vietnam and pretened to shoot down American aircraft with the VC. I wish we could do that with traitors now because back during WWII, we shot cowards and people who belittled or attacked our troops!

the woman indecent as she is played an interesting role during "our" time in the 70's....

I had her in my sights back in June of 1980 in Jerusalem. She was leading a pretty intense anti-Semitic rally in one of the town squares and had the large gathering of news media about her. I was stationed at one corners of the square opposite the oversized cafe she was in when to the north of her spot a shot rang out towards the entry gate of the square and an Israeli soldier had been shot and wounded. Immediately the news groups that had been filming her tumbled out of the restaurant double quick to see the ruckess as two Israeli soldiers where giving this Phillistine slime a good going over. Needless to say Play Jane was a bit pissed off that she lost the limelight........all I could do was smile

Great Stuff!

In the late 1970s her an ex-husband Tom Haden were giving some kind of speech in Santa Monica, CA. Some friends of mine and I started throwing trash up by where they speaking. Soon they were getting pelted by a bunch of bikers who were yelling "commie b*tch! The cops came, we eluded them in the crowd, it was great!

Man I wish we could had five minutes alone with that poor excuse of a woman and our Heidi stick.

The famous or infamous Heidi stick was a 5 foot length of willow with just enough green in it to give it a little bend without breaking. Really helped keep un-necessary vermin in-line...

and ya know what she was interviewed last month by bozo Larry King, and she said she has no qualms about doing this agin if she were given the chance. The woman has aged dramatically, of course living with loser Ted Turner I could see why

Stupid cretins... Just like M.Moore and all these left-winged pseudointellectuals... Stupid students in the CZ wear Palestine scraves and I often talk with them about the situation in Israeli-Palestininan conflict. They no nothing. Nah and it's the same with all these noneducated flagburners, lefty activists and other stupid wankers.

As to the war on Iraq, I'd say that mr. Bush is a trully retard but fortunately have a bunch of capable people surrounding him and the anti-terrorism war is necessary. Becuase with impeacment, you gain nothing, only loose. We saw that in Czechoslovakia in 1938...

I have no doubt that Saddam had WMDs, a same ************ as Osama, Ayatollah Khamanei or Kim Jong Il. He just managed to hide them before it was possible to find them. I agree on the opinion that they moved into a neighbouring country, such as Syria or Iran.

Every war is horrible, of course. All are victims. But this war is needed, because if there was Kerry or someone else then an agressive cowboy, he'd just say "okay, sorry mr. Saddam, if you don't put aside the WMD, you won't get your pocket money...". And that is not the way how it works.

I'm currently in Tel Aviv, Israel. And I see it here. Sharon is a "jewish nazi", but his policy is right. Current world isn't prepared for the left oriented policy yet...

Salute! to soldiers in war on terrorism!

Cheers,
Pisis

The Israeli-Palestine conflict is much more complex than Iraq-Coalition. You can't compare the two, Israel are just as much to blame as the Palestinians. That is why the U.S government are telling Israel to give Palestine it's land back, because it was Palestinian land.

You cannot just support Israel because it's fighting Muslims. That is Muslim turf and it always has been. It was only because the U.S recognised Israel after Britain pulled out in 1949, that the place is even mentioned on maps.

The way I see it is, Palestinians are defending their land with what weapons they have at hand. Israelis are defending their land, conflict of interest...That war just shows this world that different cultures cannot live side by side in peace, it's not possible. I understand both sides of the story and I'm never going to call the Palestinian terrorists for one sole reason...they are fighting on their own land and the majority of their nation want their land back.
I know there's people on this site that have fought against Palestinians and I'm not saying they're doing wrong. In my view, war is war and it will always exist so there's no point in judgement. What I am saying is, the Palestinians do no wrong either. They fight a war with what they have and suicide bombings and guerilla tactics are the only way they can go about it.

Someone will mention the IRA now but that's different because Northern Ireland is a majority protestant country. In a democratic vote Northern Ireland would stay with the U.K. Britain took that land in the 16th Century and seperated the two nations in 1921, best thing they could have done. The Catholics in Northern Ireland still don't like it but it's the trouble makers that see it as an excuse to kill people that cause the trouble.

Iraq is different again because the vast majority of the insurgents are not Iraqi. They're fighting on foreign soil which doesn't make them anything more than low-life terrorists. They're not fighting for freedom, they're fighting because it's a way to kill Westerners "in the name of Allah".

Back to Palestine and my way of thinking. The nation can't defend itself conventionally (U.N Arms embargo) so it resorts to guerilla warfare and suicide tactics. Nothing wrong there, they're fighting on their home turf. Personally, I'd prefer it if they lifted the arms embargo and let them fighting convetionally. Then no one would be able to call them terrorists. Israel would probably win but so what? At least it'd be fought properly and in the most civil way possible, unfortunately I imagine all Arabia would join in. That would bring the U.S and allies into it.

They should do! End the bickering once and for all.

sorry plan but the philistines came as invaders. It is the land of the Jews. palestine in all it's wonderment is not just the Palestinians, it is the inclusion of all the peoples whether Jewish/Palestinain Muslims or whomever that lived in the area pre WW 1, infact it was named this under Roman rule.

you are right under one point it cannot be compared with Iraq/coalition's struggle in my view and the Philistines are just waiting since the old neighbor Assyria is waiting and watching as well as Canaan (Lebanon) and Saudia Arabia. Israel will be attacked from mulitple fronts, but we are getting ahead of ourselves here, back to what is happeneing at present

I've read both sides of the story from far back in history. The furthest back I've seen it is that it was originally Islamic then conquered by the Hebrew King...I can't remember the name now. Back in the days when "Right of Conquest" was granted.

I don't like the infatuation with that conflict. Let them fight it out amongst themselves, everyone did so when Britain was fighting the IRA. In fact the IRA had some wealthy supporters in the U.S and Canada. Just like that war was left by everyone, so should the Israel-Palestine war. I have no sympathy for either nation.

Its nice to see ur honest about ur views pD... I agree, but dont agree...

Not all Palestinians are Terrorists, but the ones blowing up innocents are....

The US State Department uses the following definition of terrorist activity taken from Section 212 (a)(3)(B) of the Immigration and Nationality Act.

"(ii)TERRORIST ACTIVITY DEFINED--As used in this Act, the term "terrorist activity" means any activity which is unlawful under the laws of the place where it is committed (or which, if committed in the United States, would be unlawful under the laws of the United States or any State) and which involves any of the following:"

"(I) The highjacking or sabotage of any conveyance (including an aircraft, vessel, or vehicle)."

"(II) The seizing or detaining, and threatening to kill, injure, or continue to detain, another individual in order compel a third person (including a governmental organization) to do or abstain from doing any act as an explicit or implicit condition for the release of the individual seized or detained."

"(III) A violent attack upon an internationally protected person (as defined in section 1116(b)(4) of title 18, United States code) or upon the liberty of such a person."

"(IV) An assassination."

"(V) The use on any--"

"(a) biological agent, chemical agent, or nuclear weapon or device," or
"(b) explosive or firearm (other than for mere personal monetary gain), with intent to endanger, directly or indirectly, the safety of one or more individuals or to cause substantial damage to property."
"(VI) A threat, attempt, or conspiracy to do any of the foregoing."

"(iii) ENGAGE IN TERRORIST ACTIVITY DEFINED.-As used in the Act, the term "engage in terrorist activity" means to commit, in an individual capacity or as a member of an organization, an act of terrorist activity or an act which the actor knows, or reasonably should know, affords material support to any individual, organization, or government in conducting a terrorist activity at any time, including any of the following acts:"

"(I) The preparation or planning of a terrorist activity."
"(II) the gathering of information on potential targets for terrorist activity."
"(III) The providing of any type of material support, including a safe house, transportation, communication, funds, false identification, weapons, explosives, or training, to any individual the actor knows or has reason to believe has committed or plans to commit a terrorist activity."
"(IV) The soliciting of funds or other things of value for terrorist activity of for any terrorist organization."
"(V) The solicitation of any individual for membership in a terrorist organization, terrorist government, or to engage in a terrorist activity."

Have u ever seen what happens to a crowd of people when a human bomb goes off in their midst??? I have..... A terrorist puts terror into the hearts and minds of ALL civilians..... Thats what they do.... And thats what those radical Palestinians are doing as well....
