Thanks for posting that, I would love to go thru a complete gun boresight proceedure on that aircraft. I taught F-16 gun boresighting so I found this chart especially interesting.

This (somewhat longish) thread has one or two boresighting diagrams for the P-38 or P-47, and also a couple of animated GIFs I prepared to illustrate the resulting pattern at ranges of 100 - 1000 m.
