Well, every effort for sharing air stuff deserves a big THANKS.
Edit: many constructive details founded in these papers are pure gold for modellers.

Pure gold.

I have this reoccuring daydream (I daydream a lot) of owning Bf 109 G-6, because that's what Finnish aces used to fly in Continuation War (1941-1944). It would be so cool to do a low flypass at their funerals, nowadays Finnish Airforce takes care of that with F/A-18.

During the war Finland bought the 109's from Germany. The need for those was tremendous and they were needed last week. So, Finnish aces went to Germany to get the planes: "Ok, here they are, let's go", repiled by the Germans: "Nein, nein, nein, two weeks of training first!" Somehow, Finns got to fly and try out the 109's anyway. As they landed, the Germans went: "OK, you're qualified, take the planes." At least this is what I've heard to happen. Might be true, because they were serious flyers. Great story anyway.

Two questions
1) Where the hell do I start
2) Where can I find three weeks to go through it all

Stunning work
