. One of the flaps straight and true all 28" inches of it. The trailing edge has a 1/16"th strip of plywood along it to help prevent dings while maintaining a sharp edge.

. Here we have the flap in the retracted position. Everything is nice and level, gaps are minimal and all trailing edges even up.

. Now this tool is a dead centering tool. You use it to mark where you want your drill bit to go dead center.I'll show you how this works. As you can see it is spring loaded and slides through a shaft. The tip has a drill bit. Last edited by Thebuilderofthings; 09-13-2009 at 07:36 PM. Reason: Oops.

. Now here is one of the firewalls. It's 1/4" inch aircraft grade plywood. I've already got the holes drilled for the engine mounts, but there is more, watch.

| Now, doesn't this machine demand a pilot licence, the one for multiple engine birds? Most impressive!

. Because this firewall will have the main landing gear attached to it there will be another 1/8" inch plywood section with blind nuts sandwiched in between for attachment and added strength. I'll show you what I mean. I am now taking the firewall and using the dead centering tool to mark the holes on the 1/8" ply disc behind.
