| It's a typical for JG54 camo scheme used for Russian front during Spring of 1943.On summer camo pattern RLM70/RLM71/RLM25 was applied white one RLM21.Because the paint was removable after some period of the Wurger usage it got some different tonalities at different places on the aircraft.Undersides with RLM76 Additional paints: yellow - RLM04, red - RLM23

| wow thanks. one more question. you say the normal camo was 70/71 and 25?. was the 25 the darker blotch's? if not can you give me an idea of what the camo pattern was? also wasnt 74/75 the RLM for 1943? or was 70/71 a JG 54 thing? i have my FW sitting and waiting for it's paint! i have wanted to do this type of scheme for years and i want to get it right. | The camo pattern is charakterystic for JG54 and JG51 on Eastern front, not only for Fw190A but for Bf109F aswell. The standard camo scheme for Fw190A was of RLM74/RLM75/RLM76 in that time. And here you are samples of the mentioned in the previous post colours.Unfortunately these colours could have different tonalities.I suggest to look at the site : Color Reference Charts -* Germany You can find there almost all of these colours.

| Thank you very much Wurger. i am still a little confused with with what i need to use. looking at the picture of my White 1 i would say the main top colour is RLM 25 and the pattern is 70 or 71. let me ask you. if you were painting white 1 what colours would you use and in what order. again thank you for your help. |

| The more I look at this the less I am convinced that RLM25 "Green" is correct..? Either RLM 71 has been lightened OR maybe even RLM 80 has been used, as a Light brown probably RLM79 is a candidate when brown or tan is seen on some aircraft... Another possibility is a captured Russian Green?
