Grey/violet

Hi guys

how do i mix the colour greyviolet for my mission the Fw190 D-9.

I have a couple of greys but not grey/violet. Also no purple to mix

I usually use the premixed Model Master or Polly Scale acrylic versions but here are some possibilities:

From Tamiya Paints: RLM 81--> XF51:1 + XF64:2
(reference: Eastern Carolina Plastic Modelers)

But since there are actually a couple of versions of RLM 81 you might also want to check out THIS guide:

The above guide actually shows some color chips for the various shades of RLM 81 so it's probably a good place to start.

For Humbrol: Braunviolett RLM 81 Brown Violet +> 3*Hu:150 + 2*Hu:33

A bit late now Keith I know, but for future reference, Humbrol Grey No.27 is close enough to use straight from the tin.
