Wing colours for a messerschmitt 109E

All right so for the group build i'll be making a messerschmitt 109E-1 but with an unusual paint scheme.http://www.ipmsstockholm.org/photos/...e_bf109_09.gif
But it only shows the scheme from the side and despite my googling i cant find any birds eye pics of it. So would it have the same splinter wing pattern as other 109's but with rlm 02 and 70? or would it be a totally different pattern?

JG53 experimented with a series of different patterns through 1940, your subject was flown by Oblt. Wilfred Balfanz, part of the I/JG53 Gruppenstab, in early 1940.
i have one port side shot from 8 o'clock but the wing pattern is indistict, however from what i see it looks like a non standard pattern seen on a number of aircraft.

Will dig out the pattern for you.

The first the wing camo pattern, backed up with a couple of shots showing the pattern, it varied slightly on some airceaft but not much.
The colours were 70/02 or 71/02 yellow 1 is clearly 70/02

There were other fuselage and wing patterns as well...

I think these colours might have been of RLM70/71/65 with mottling of RLM02 and RLM65 though.

From the website i found the picture it said RLM 02/62/70 for the top and RLM 65 for the underneath.

That's true...the RLM62 might look like the RLM71 in B&W pictures.
