Holy Cow! Some great shots, Aaron and i am so-o-o-o jealous. Man, I am missing out on all the fun; you'll have to PM me if you hear about one of these "close encounters" again. Thanks for posting these.

I'm sorry Derek. I didn't find out about it until the last minute myself.

No worries on the pan-n-scan....trying to keep a moving subject centered while your mirror is flipped up is dang near impossible, unless the object is moving on a fixed line perfectly horizontal with the plane of your camera lens, you're using a tripod, and you have the luck of the Irish. Since I tend to be lazy and not bring/utilize my tripod, mine always end up blurry!

For shooting aircraft I don't use a tripod either but I was about 250 yards away which helped me alot.

Pan shots are always a challenge and I don't know anyone who get them 100% of the time. Nice job, Aaron.

Thank you Eric. I find that when I'm a fair distance from the object I am having an easier time getting it rite. I don't know why.

It give a little "wiggle room". Keep at it. My Mustang pan shot from Riverside a couple of years ago was a crowning glory for me for pan shots. I don't know that I will ever top that one.

Fantastic shots Aaron, you are getting the hang of that camera pretty fast. The pan shots to me are great.

Thank you guys. I haven't been out this week at all but hope to get out tomorrow and find something to shoot, but like I've said before. If it were not for all the tips, advice, and encouragement the quality would have never gotten this far, thank you all. Oh and Ontos, I found a highway with a boat load of barns on it so if I can get a full day soon I will make a run down it for you.
