Ok, here some pics of myself, to add to the mug contest.

This is the first shot I've taken of Lara, the day we met for the first time. She was 19, I was 35.
From this picture I later made the nose art that is sported on my P-38 in the virtual skies:


Here is down in 1997, still during my first marriage, with my sons Derek and Roy.


And here a pic from 1992, from one of my ID Cards in service:

Of interest is that this one was a non standard uniform. The standard color of the service uniform was and still is light grey.

Well:

I'm in fact half Italian (from my Mother side) and half US (from my Father side).

Altought proud about my US Citizenship, I lived in the States only in my childhood, then moved to Italy when I was 5 years old.
At home we always speaked Italian, and this is the reason why my english is not so good as if I had lived in the US for the whole of my life. I know that it is still pretty scholar style. I have returned to the US on various occasions, but always for short periods.
In any case, I have the Italian citizenship, too.

My Wife is Brazilian, descendant from Italian emigrees back around 1880.

I had another son, the first one. His name was Timothy, but he died back in 2001 in a car crash, at the age of 20. He was born when I was 18.
His Son, (my Grandson) Luke is now 7 years old, and living in Washington, DC with my son's widow, Jennifer. I'm sorry to say that I have never met my grandson, as Jennifer never liked me too much. In all these years I recieved only a letter from her with a picture of the child when he was 3 years old and that's all.
Derek and Roy are living in Italy with their mom, my ex-Wife. Derek is now 15 and Roy is 10.
