Yep, I can.I have to wait a few weeks until all the auditting is done though. Auditors tend to frown on having a camera in the office, even if it is not used in the office. We do financial transaction processing, so there is a lot of sensitive data that could be inadvertently caught with an innocent shot. Of course, my interest is not photographing what is inside the building!

On my way out of the office yesterday, I saw an old Ercoupe on final, flaps and gear down. Looked real nice.

A little photoshop practice. Every element of this picture was a separate shot. The more I play around in photoshop, the more I realize that it totally rocks!

Very nice! You're right about how it rocks. I can sorta do the cloning thing but im not so good at it at the moment...Mainly because the Photoshop at school is very different to the one I have, and I have to relearn everything when I try it here...

I don't do a lot of cloning, but the magic eraser is great to take out the backgrounds.

Ahhh...so do you just add all the different photos as layers and then erase the backgrounds of the uppermost layers?

I edit out the backgrounds of the elements I want to use with the magic eraser, then I pick the background I want to use and move the elements onto the chosen background as individual layers. Then you can move them around and arrange them as you want them.

Could be...

I realized tonight that I was a space cadet when I built my Camarillo airshow section and forgot to post my pictures of the B-25 Mitchell and the WWII reenactors. So feel free to enjoy them:

Van Gilder Aviation Photography, Camarillo AS, 2006- B-25 Mitchell

Van Gilder Aviation Photography, Camarillo AS, 2006- WWII reenactors

I also added a section for free desktop wallpapers. Yes FREE! I have 5 up so far and more will be added. I know the Corsair and the Mustang will be requested. I will also be adding a Mitchell shot. Anything anyone else wants to see?

Nice shot of the T-34B. I will be checking up to see the new ones that you release. Great work, Sir!

I had a feeling you might like the shots of the T-34, Matt. The Edwards airshow is in 2 weeks, so there will be a bunch of new pics soon. After that, I am working on getting some winter air to air photo shoots together and hope I can get them to pan out.

My first flyer. It's for an event of December 9 at the museum where I volunteer. This is the smaller, web based flyer. The print flyers look great! Looks like another great photo op.
