Thanks. The weather was nice, but we had a bit of a marine layer, so that's why the shots from the sky are a bit hazy. I am hoping for clear weather next weekend. The Point Mugu show is next weekend and I hope the weather is much better than last time. 2 shows in 2 days next weekend. So I should have a whole bunch of new stuff.

A usual terrific shots Eric thanks for letting us see them I get a lot of pleasure from every one, I'm very much obliged to you.
I don't fly much but I do when looking at your pictures.
Thanks guys! I have opened up my full store at CafePress now and am in the process of stocking up some items featuring some of my pictures. They have a pretty broad selection of products to choose from and I am looking at what will be the most popular. Obviously, T-shirts and calendars. I am putting together coffee mugs right now and will be doing sweatshirts, hoodies, baby onsies and women's tank tops, etc. Feel free to have a look around. I welcome any suggestions for images and products.

Make that three days of airshows... Last night, I was invited to the military family show at point mugu! So I will be there for the afternoon to shoot the Raptor, the F-18, F-15, AF Heritage flight and the Thunderbirds. I will be back at Mugu on sunday with a comp'd VIP pass. I will get to be in the COs chalet. SCORE!
Now let me ask you, how many of you read online reviews of products? I am baffled by one particular review of the Nikkor AF28-80/F3.3-5.6 lens. I read so many people complain that the focus is soft, or the colors are misrepresented. I have shot a bunch of pictures with that same lens and have not seen any of those issues. Do that many people not know what they are doing, or did I just get the exception? The shot below is an example of the quality I get from the lens that consistently gets crappy reviews...

Shot looks great to me... Sometimes I find an item I own which works flawlessly gets poor reviews as well.... Maybe we got lucky on the inspector...
