Country: | hehe not quite. The feeling of the Gs, the wind currents, etc.
Here is a short video of my first kill. The voice on the video is that of my instructor giving me guidance through the fight.

Country: | Eric,
What was the max G's that you pulled? And can you confirm that you did or did not have throttle control. Looked like the throttle quadrant was center located. If you did, that makes for some real concentration. I performed a full motion simulator landing of a 767 with primary hydraulics out while concentrating to keep the ILS lined up with column and throttles. With the primary hydraulics out I want to recall that the rudder forces were 60lbs? to maintain yaw and I was a sweat bucket upon landing. Full motion simulator was JUST like being there. I was shaking when done.

Country: | I pulled 6 Gs at the peak. Most of the maneuvers were in the 4.5-5 G range though. The instructor basically controlled the throttle, which was both center mounted and there was also one on my left. There was very little change in throttle settings throughout though. It's partly because the Extra is slower and they didn't want me to run away from it.

Country: | Well, well, well, it appears that I have been "stumbled". I went from an average of 500-700 hits a day to a new record high of over 6,000 in one day! The graph below was screen grabbed at 5:24 this morning. This is unreal!
By the way, I have gone international now. I sold a calendar to someone in Holland, and have now sold usage rights to a photo that will be used at an upcoming helicopter exhibition in the UK.
I need something kick ass for a year closer. It's been a year of triumph and tragedy in the aviation world. I think we all need to be able to have something really cool to close the year.
