So we had shots at the Santa Barbara zoo last weekend, and the weather has been rainy and yuck for the last few days. I had some time to do these edits though.

I'll be out at Camarillo in a couple of weeks for the museum grand re-opening. I should be able to get some cool shots then.

Amazing pics. I love the last two, as well as the giraffe portrait.

Cheers guys. Here is some stuff from Saturday at Camarillo. And yes, I was actually in front of the lens for the last shot (Photo courtesy of Jim Mumaw).

Must be nice to have that kind of weather right now. I've got a foot of snow and more on the way. Makes for not to much activity at the local airports. Although the airzoo is having there open cockpit weekends through this month.

Thanks guys. I will be at Camarillo again in a couple of weeks for the CAF commander's visit. I don't know if there will be any flying, but if there is, I will catch it.

I have a couple of BIG things happening in May, more to follow soon.

If you ever compile your best aircraft photo's into a book, Eric, I will stand
in line to buy a copy. Autographed, of course!

It's in the works, twoeagles. I have started a project that I hope doesn't take too long to compile.

Could be, but I was a little twisted (my body, that is) when the shot was taken, Charles. I had just taken a shot down the line and turned when I heard my name called.

Here is the range of a 50-500mm lens, like the one I have on the D80 in the above shot. I did these up for a comparison and to demonstrate my lens to someone who was asking about it at the airport.
