Country: | Here is one of my lined up "artful" shots. Corsair coming in to land shot over the wing of a P-51. Then a couple of shots of the Super Corsair doing it's routine. IN the inverted shot, I didn't realize that I had caught a puff of the smoke. Nothing like a fast shutter!

Country: | Thanks everyone. Here is an experiment in shutter speed and prop blur. Shot 1 is with the camera on full auto everything. Nice shot, but the prop stands still. Yuck! Next shot at shutter speed 250, ISO 200. Good, but not there yet. 250 works great for aerial shots, but taxiing requires a bit lower. The next three are sutter speed at 125, ISO 200. Much better. The prop blur gives a much better feeling of motion.

Country: | A fellow aviation photographer showed me some great tips and tricks. The one thing you have to watch closely though with the lower shutter speeds is the lens shake at high magnification. The steadier your stance, the better.
