| "Shooter" ![]() | Some from the Civil War re-enactments here in my own town yesterday. The day battles (Wilderness 1 and 2) were part of the Overland Campaign. The night battle was Cold Harbor. The night shots were taken at 1/10, hand held at 1600 ISO. Tough shots to get timing wise as well, but well worth the effort.

| Awesome shots, Eric! I like the B&W photos, too! Out of curiousity, do you have problems with excessive "noise" with a higher ISO for your low-light shots?

| "Shooter" ![]() | Thanks guys. I actually find the Nikon is noisier on low light with low ISO than high ISO, for some reason. The high ISO does have noise reduction though, so that might be part of it. I love shooting at night, it presents a new set of challenges and it's real unforgiving. But when you get a good one, its gold.

| Its not until you see decent shots of these old firearms being used that you realise just how much of a flash they produce when the trigger is pulled. Eric, thats some d*mn fine action shots there, well caught sir !
