Matt, if he was trying to slow down or had some issues with his coolant boiling over, then the flaps would be open I think.... The pic is a good one none the less....

The 1/32nd Ta 152H is on my list of aircraft to build, after I build my Nashorn (thanks Jan) and the 2 1/48th Bf 109's (thanks Wayne and Bill)...

Any recommendations on which kit to build???

just read the little bio on the D-9 from your link thor about JG 6.......not quite correct about the altitude range nor about the red/white/red bands either as they did wear them
