Country: | Great work again Clave.
Widen both the Yellow and the Red bands to the right by about 15%. (an earlier post I made a mistake I should have said the LEFT side of the yellow band is about right).
Remove the mottle directly beneath the tail plane in shadow and about every second one on the tail and along the fuselage. Some of the mottle could be the dark grey also.
Darken the primary Grey along the top of the fuselage a bit more.
If we follow the standard Fw camo the front 1/3 or up to 1/2 of the darker grey on the upper cowl should be the lighter Grey violet colour, it would rise at about a 30-40 degree angle over and across the cowl. A similar reverse angle for the lt.grey would possibly appear on the rear fuselage in front of the bands above the fuselage cross and extend up the tail, rather than the dark grey. You will see what I mean from the plan view below and the side view.
Thanks for your patience! |

Country: | Clave...almost there, the Dark Grey, a little darker with a slight greenish tinge, like the top view of Yellow 4.
The Lighter Grey change that you made to the nose and tail, use the other Medium Grey you were already using as mottle for this other top surface colour. On my screen it looks very light, probably too light, compared to both mottle colours.
Again, a big thanks for your effort and patience. |

Country: | Clave, fantastic.
This is how I would see white 2 IF it was a stock standard A-9 produced AS the various publications would have us believe, with the addition of 5 staffel markings of JG 301, in 74/75/76 camo.
However as Erich has rightly pointed out there are variations and details that we can only speculate on regarding Seigried Baers actual aircraft on that fateful day in Nov '44.
If you would indulge me/us just a bit more, another profile with the flat canopy as well as a change of the Dark Grey to profiles with Dark Green providing an alternative 83/75/76 camo and both canopy types.
Have added part of an image showing an interpretation of the Green 83.
This then provides a starting point for modelling choices.
Hmm..Which way to go?
Merry Christmas Clave!..and Erich! |

Country: | excellent Clave I would imagine your last flat canopy with the green over spine camo would cover an A-9 of the JG during 1945 spring
for the time period my best guess would be for Herbst 1944 a Fw 190 in the grey,s no greens or brown-violets of late 45 war time
