The He-111 looks like the one that used to be part of the CAF in Mesa Arizona. I can get more info on that plane if you want. It was a CASA (Spanish built) model. That airplane was also the personal transport of Franco.

That could be. The one the CAF was flying was the last one that was still flying. There are none flying now, sadly.

Some from Madagascar - this is the aftermath of Cyclone Ernest (nothing like Katrina but still shows what a 'weak' storm can do to wooden buildings.)
