Impressive Etch a Sketch work, but I find it EXTREMELY hard to believe that he did that just like we do, freehand....

Has anyone here tried to make a circle with one of those things???? Jesus Aged Christ.....

The guy reminds me of Will Ferril in the movie ELF....

Seen that one before. Only in China where life is abundant, cheap and expendable. Must be where you take your chinese daughters for a school fieldtrip.

Ooops.

I have tea next to me (I'm British, what do you expect!?!) and my journey involved a flight of stairs just like that, then I had to wrestle my parrot out of the way to squeeze through a doorway into the frickin' freezin' cave known as my kitchen then put the kettle on, then stand there for two minutes 'til the water boiled ... and well, the rest is history.

Those horses are really amazing, so lifelike!

Those Asians sure don't have many safety precautions! Reminds me of the weird temple in Batman begins. How do you walk those boards in snow holding onto icey chains?

I can't even imagine doing that work on an etch-a-sketch. One wrong turn and your picture is hosed.

Castle Model

Hiroyasu Imura spent 19 years pursuing his boyhood dream of faithfully producing a replica of Himeji Castle in Hyogo Prefecture. The 69-year-old former insurance examiner completed his model of Himeji Castle at a scale of 1:23 in the garden of his home in Ise, Mie Prefecture, in April.

His wife, Ikuko, 66, gave him a book containing photographs of the castle on his 47th birthday. He saw a drawing of the castle in the book and made up his mind to build a replica.

Imura bought a plot of land in the town of Enza in Ise, which has a beautiful view of mountains unhindered by the sight of power lines -- a setting he thought would be perfect for the replica. He moved to the town and began building the model in 1989, using experience he gained as a joiner during his youth.

After retiring at age 60, Imura devoted his life to building the replica.
