| Thanks guys, I think the bird is a Finch, I'll have to check it out on the web. This time of year I get different kinds of birds I haven't had before. I'll have to clean my windows so I can get some better shots. LOL

| I was on the computer working on a Spitfire Skin, when I heard some loud props. Grabbed my camera ran out and caught this. Sorry for the blur, the lens I had on the camera was the standard 75-300 with no IS. I also had to take a shot on my Wren living in the eves.

| I think that's a Chinook Skycrane. Very cool Ontos and good shot of the wren to.

| That looks like a Sikorsky S-64, we have those up here operated by Erickson Air-Crane service. What I find interesting, is the hose is extended...was there a fire nearby?

| They had a fire just south in Orange County. Two of them flew over but I didn't have time to change lenses. It was about 1630 hrs getting getting dark, I got in too much in a hurry to get the shot I think.

| Hey, they're not bad shots...just if the light isn't as strong, keep in mind the shutter will be a bit slower, and get your camera on something solid, like the roof of a car or a fencepost, etc... I have a nice shot of a Sikorsky that was taking off from Redding Airport while I was waiting for the Collings Foundation to land, back in June...I'll post that over in my photograph thread, if you want to compare!

| It was raining today so I thought I would take a shot of my Rain Chain, I added a couple of moon shots to.
