Country: | Nice stuff PB something that was commented on at Duxford this year and is bought home in your pictures, that the planes that are still around today are in much better condition than those flown during the war, when keeping em flying sometimes meant short cuts in servicing and repairs.

Country: | without a doubt these aircraft are in as a rule in A-1 shape polished and no dents or damage and are maintained by well trained technicians the techs in wartime would more then likely would not have the high standards of todays guys but then the war would have been more about quantity then quality .
I would not hesitate to say most aircraft during WW2 probably operated at 85% of there potential performance

Country: | once in a while an aircraft circling the house invokes some interest this one has me stumped its not an RC or KC but what kind of 135 is it. It was white with the stars and bars and thats as good as it gets with my camera

Country: | Went to small local airshow didn;t want to go but decided the old lady should see the Snowbirds she took the pics the weather was horrid 1400' ceiling and about 4 miles vis with the odd rain drop
