We of the "colonial" persuasion prefer the term "Commonwealth".
A lot of them are Canadian and New Zealander. I think I spotted some Aussies in there too. Although we all used British markings in those days.

In all those there's loads of different countries from Canada to Czech Republic. And that's why I said "(at least in British markings)".

I have it in a book somewhere I think, but I think the guy on the left of the pic is actually a German prisoner.

Looking at the V-1 picture, the one on the left does look German by his uniform. The one on the right has a camera, so maybe they're a photographic unit who have stumbled across a group of POWs.

very nice pics there. unfortunately only like 20-30 work, the rest goes crappy (no at all)

the JX-E Mk.IIc Hurricane "Night Reaper" was a personal plane of S/Ldr Karel M. "Kut" Kuttelwascher, DFC&Bar, DSO. He earned 15 night victories on that machine. Look at the Stories section here to learn more.
